Epic Gems Slot Game Overview
There are 40 gems, 4 of which are hiding mines. To win the jackpot, pick or swipe all 36 winning gems without picking any of the mines. The player can cash out at any point after selecting the first gem. If the player hits a mine, the prize will be lost, and the game will end.
Epic Gems Rules
Before you start, decide how much you’re willing to bet. The higher your bet, the more money you can win. Press the bet control buttons to increase or decrease your bet. Once you have reached the min/max bet, the corresponding button will be disabled.
- The jackpot shows the maximum amount to be won for that bet.
- The board consists of 40 gems – 4 of those are hiding mines.
- When you click a gem, what you discover is determined at random.
- Good gems will disappear into the vortex; bad gems will reveal mines.
Capping
Occasionally the operator may introduce a cap to the maximum prize or maximum bet. This may mean that there are a maximum number of symbols that can be found before a player will be automatically cashed out with the max win. This does not impact on RTP, except for a minor positive advantage in the player’s favour.
Average Payout
Epic Gems is a chance based game where the outcome is NOT pre-determined. This means that the player’s choices are meaningful within the context of the random number generator calculating the odds of a given gem winning or being a mine.
The player chooses whether to cash out or not after selection of a winning gem. The theoretical RTP is calculated on the player being equally likely to cash out or not after each selection of a winning gem.
Outcomes rest on randomness, although they may be influenced by players’ choices.
RTP: 96.5%
Interrupted play
We know that internet connections can sometimes be unreliable or something can interrupt the game. We try to make this as fair as possible to you. For example, if you run out of battery while playing or you’ve reached your personal daily time limit when you return, the game will start at the point you left.
If an interrupted game is not completed within 1 day(s), it shall automatically be completed by cashing out if cash out is available, or playing until either cash out becomes available or the game is lost.
Demo Play
The Operator’s Demo Mode games are a sample of the Play for Real version. They play with the exact same rules and random number generator. Demo Mode versions of games allow you to play for ‘fun money’ that has no financial value.
Gaming System Malfunction
The Operator reserves the right to withhold winnings and void wagers if a Player manipulates the games in a fraudulent manner or the Gaming System itself malfunctions. The definition of such a malfunction extends to an error in the published odds or pay tables, or a game not working in accordance with its published rules.
Paytable
The current jackpot amount is always displayed at the top of the screen. While a game is going on the value of the next gem is displayed on the right hand side of the screen.
